Australians Studying Abroad (ASA), celebrating 30 years in 2007, is the licensed travel agent appointed to arrange travel for delegates and their partners wishing to attend the Baker Heart Research Institute: 'Heart and Mind' Psychoneurocardiology Conference in Prato from the 3rd to the 5th of September 2008.
Group Travel Arrangements include:
- Competitive economy class airfares flying Singapore Airlines for delegates attending from Australia
- Accommodation at the Hotel Flora, Hotel Giardino, or the Art Hotel Milano in Prato
- A limited number of mini-apartments are also available at the Residence Manassei in Prato
- Rail travel between Rome Airport and Prato
- Early bird discounts airfares are available if flights are booked and paid for in the early bird period, which is generally October to December 2007. These discounts can often be substantial.

Day tours while based in Prato:
A range of half-day and full-day excursions in Florence and neighbouring towns (Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa) are available. All these tours start in Florence. Please contact ASA or check our website if you are interested in receiving further information.

Exclusive Lombardy & The Italian Lakes Post-Conference Tour: 6th to 13th September 2008
We are also delighted to offer an exclusive post conference tour for delegates and their partners. This week long tour, starting in Prato and ending in Milan, takes you through the beautiful pastoral landscapes of Lombardy and the Veneto, past stunning lakes, through seldom visited towns, magnificent gardens and Palladian Villas. This highly popular tour takes in the Romanesque churches and exquisite paintings of Parma, the famous Teatro Olympico, Verona's ancient Roman Amphitheatre and magnificent Palladian Villas. The regions incredibly rich history and natural beauty are highlighted by our carefully thought-out program. The leader for this tour, David Henderson, trained at the Royal Academy of Art, London and now spends most of his year living and painting in Italy. David will offer many insights into the beauty and nature of the magnificent houses of this region.

Please note: September corresponds with High Season in Europe, demand for accommodation and air travel is therefore very high. We ask all travellers to begin organising their travel arrangements as soon as possible (preferably to be completed by the end of December 2007).
